QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS
All our instructors are fully Austswim qualified. Our instructors are very compassionate, friendly and caring for all our swimmers different needs. We have regular training sessions throughout the year and attend conferences to keep up with everything that is going on in the swimming industry. We are a very family orientated swim school which understands different needs. Our premises are always kept clean and fresh. Our gardens are looked after and well presented.
COVERED FACILITY
Our facility is completely covered with 100% sun protection, letting you enjoy swimming in all types of weather. Our enclosed space protects you from the scorching heat or immense cold so you can carry on with your training.
PARTY HIRE
Have you got a party coming up? Do you want somewhere different and less effort? Hire Affinity Swim on a Saturday for your next function! It doesn’t matter what time of the year Summer, Winter, Spring or Autumn.
The pool is heated and fully enclosed. There is a Large BBQ area. A great playground with beautiful gardens.
VIEWING ROOM
Sit back and relax in our viewing room. Get a complimentary tea or coffee while watching your child’s progress every training session.
TOILET FACILITIES
We are fully equipped with toilets, showers, changerooms and change tables for babies. We make sure that our facilities are always kept clean and fresh for your comfort and convenience.
CAN YOU SWIM?
Ask yourself how important is it to be able swim? We can’t stress how very important it is! To be able to swim is a skill for life for ever. Swimming is a must for all ages – young and old. In our area we have rivers, dams, creeks, water holes and backyard pools in most houses, so much water surrounding us and in our climate water is so inviting.
We at Affinity Swim offer the very best in swimming lessons. Class sizes are small to offer more personalised teaching. Our pool is heated to provide comfortable swimming all year round. We are all qualified Austswim accredited teachers and have training days regularly. We have a total of 85 years’ experience. Classes range from babies (5 months old) to squad levels for the competitive swimmers.
Our babies have a 3 level learning structure which is a progression from one to the other. From there they go into a lesson by themselves with Mum and Dad, we find that our program offers this with very little tears and easy transition. We offer FREE make-up classes. Our other specialised class is our 1 on 1 class for those who need that individualised lesson. Great for adults wanting to learn to swim. It’s never too late to learn to swim!!!
The pool is heated and fully enclosed and well ventilated. We have an undercover playground and entertaining area with a BBQ which we hire out for party’s.
Other services we provide are Water Workouts classes and Hydrotherapy / Lap Swimming. Our Water Workouts are a great way to get fit and stay fit. Our classes go for a good hour and it is filled with fun and laughter. It’s for all ages and all fitness levels. The water provides the resistance for strengthening and gives you a great anaerobic workout. It’s a great sport that is low weight barring on your joints and great for people with arthritis.
Our Hydrotherapy / Lap Swimming is your time in the pool to recover from injury or surgery or to swim laps for fitness. The water is gentle to the body if you have joint or muscle damage or are recovering from surgery.
