Meet Affinity Swim

Affinity Swim began in January 1995 when local owners turned their passion for water safety into Rockhampton’s favourite swim school. From our home at 243 German St Norman Gardens, we welcome families from Gracemere, Yeppoon and Emu Park to enjoy lessons in a heated enclosed pool that guarantees comfort in any weather. Over three decades we've refined teaching methods that nurture babies from five months through to confident squad swimmers, with a strong focus on early childhood development and lifelong confidence.

Our AUSTSWIM-registered, Swim Australia- and ASCTA-certified instructors deliver tight-knit personalised classes in safe, clean premises with full sun protection, a parents viewing room and even a playground and BBQ area for party hire. We believe learning to swim should be a fun and supportive experience that makes progress enjoyable, so every class includes clear goals, progression charts and theme weeks that keep kids excited.
